Coverage Analysis is an AI-generated assessment of a screenplay for creative development. The WritersRoom interface may label the workflow Brutal Coverage. It evaluates the selected readable source and returns the structured observations and recommendations shown in the completed report.

Generate and read coverage

1

Choose the screenplay and any supported references

Check the displayed source files and extraction status. The coverage-specific character ceiling is shown below; ordinary assistant limits are different.

2

Select an available report entitlement

Use the included membership Coverage credit or buy a standalone Coverage Analysis Report for $29. A standalone purchase does not require membership and does not also consume the 500-action balance.

3

Follow the same order

Track progress and any retry/review status through Purchases & Billing and the relevant project/report view. Do not buy again merely because delivery is delayed.

4

Use the recommendations

Review story, character, structure, dialogue and other returned observations against the actual script. AI coverage is a development aid, not a human reader's endorsement or a commissioning decision.

Uploading a file, extracting its text and selecting text for an AI request are different steps. File size is measured in bytes; context ceilings below are measured in characters, not words or pages. Each workflow selects a bounded amount of usable text. The assistant, Coverage, Development Intelligence, Consistency Check and memory extraction can read different amounts. A stored document is not a promise that every character is included in every request.
