The Insights page is an AI-generated analysis of your project's creative health and market readiness. It surfaces patterns in your project memory, flags potential development gaps, and provides a GreenLight Readiness signal — an assessment of whether your project is developed enough to run a meaningful audience test.

Insights are most valuable at the mid-development stage — when you have substantive memory, source files, and decisions logged but haven't committed to pitching or producing yet.

What Insights analyses

DimensionWhat it looks for
Premise clarityHow clearly your central conflict is defined and whether it is specific enough to test
Character depthWhether your lead characters have documented wants, needs, and arcs
World completenessHow many world rules are established vs. undefined — gaps that could create inconsistency under audience scrutiny
Tonal consistencyWhether your decisions, memory, and source files describe a coherent tone or show conflicting signals
Pitch readinessWhether you have the minimum materials needed for a GreenLight campaign — logline, concept summary, something to test

Insights is advisory, not prescriptive

A low Insights score does not mean your project is bad — it means the AI has identified gaps in your documented development. Some gaps are intentional (e.g., leaving world rules deliberately ambiguous). Use Insights as a checklist, not a verdict.

Acting on your Insights report

1

Address flagged gaps

For each gap the AI identifies, decide whether it's genuinely unresolved or intentionally open. If genuinely unresolved, spend a cockpit session specifically working on it — use the relevant mode (Character Map, Outline Architect, etc.).

2

Use GreenLight Preparer mode when ready

When your Insights score reaches a strong level, switch to GreenLight Preparer mode in the cockpit. This mode helps you frame your test questions and prepare the campaign brief from your project memory.
